Challenge
A newly qualified lawyer with graduation photos that looked like everyone else's graduation photos.
Approach
Instead of retouching, the photographs were rebuilt as illustration. Halftone line work, cut-out figures, and painted cloud backgrounds, all held in one palette so the set reads as a series and not twelve separate edits.
Result
A set that says something about her rather than just recording the day, and works as a portfolio piece in its own right.
